i never got to see the dead man because i’m only 14.but i’m a heavy deadhead.i have a local band in florida that are pretty big on covering dead tune’s.ironically they are called uncle john’s band.when the dead come into my town on their new tour,i am dropping everything to go see them.i was only alive 1 year before jerry died

I agree. I find something in all of ‘em. You know, Gommorrah and Cats Down Under the Stars are lovely songs. Also Palm Sunday. I wish he played more original, non-Dead songs in his solo band instead of the usual and REPETITIVE Smokey Robinson stuff. I like Smokey, but if Jerry ever overplayed a song, it was “How Sweet it Is.”

I saw that old picture of you and think that maybe you sat next to me at a Dead show in Binghamton NY in May of 1979… only kidding. The videos are great, but I think that it would be nice to hear a song all the way through.. I vote for Deal .. or Bird Song… thanks
